This year’s Black & White color theme inspiration.
This year, for our 2nd annual I’ll Bring the Chocolate event, we are planning nothing short of an amazing afternoon with a phenomenal speaker and a line-up of fabulous performers for your entertainment pleasure! As mentioned in our April 4th blog post, I’ll Bring the Chocolate – The Making of More Than an Event, was created and designed for women to motivate, inspire, connect with and celebrate each other, regardless of profession and/or economic levels. It’s an affair for every woman who’s forgotten the sweetness and strength found in deep friendships with other women. It gives us another opportunity to dress-up, which we all love to do, and experience a dazzling fusion of an elegant catered buffet, delicious desserts, an open wine bar and more.
While we meticulously plan the details of this event, we are also working tirelessly behind the scenes towards our goal of making I’ll Bring the Chocolate events more relevant to the lives of our readers. As you may recall, if you read our April 4th blog post, these events were started as a result of my own personal journey in attempting to create deeper more meaningful relationships with other women and recognizing that I was not alone in this struggle. Every woman longs for good conversation, a safe place to be vulnerable, and wisdom from women who are ahead of us on the journey. Every woman long for sisterhood! By using I’ll Bring the Chocolate as a platform to give women a safe space to connect, inspire and celebrate, we hope we can help women see that sisterhood knows no boundaries, no race, no class, and no geography. Sisterhood transcends and it transforms us for the better. Sisterhood is from the heart! Our first act, leading up to the event on the 15th, is by featuring as many smart, beautiful, and talented women as possible who were kind enough to let us highlight them on our blog and giving you an opportunity to connect with them directly. I also hope that, through our articles as well as through our actions, you have been inspired to find ways to not only pay it forward, but to recognize that we can all learn to trust, love, and support other women even if everything we may have experienced in our past or been taught is contrary to that possibility.

“Women who understand how powerful they are do not give into envy over meaningless things, instead they fight to maintain the beautiful bond of the sisterhood. These are the real women who know that we need each other’s love and support to survive in this world. Love is the essence of being a woman. We must be that light of love that seals the bond and unique beauty of our sisterhood.” –Bindu
Everyday we should celebrate our sisterhood and encourage one another to showcase each other’s inner beauty and unstoppable strength
