Everything’s Blooming Oversized and Beautiful
A trend that’s been around for a while, but not used enough in my opinion is big, over-sized, blooming bouquets.
Oh I just love them! It’s an instant way to make a big impact, bringing fun, chic, bold, whimsical style to your wedding or next event without a big budget. From crepe, to craft paper, scalloping to fans, DIY jumbo botanical flowers, or keep it simple with single big bloom statements. The choices of materials that you can use to create your over-sized blooms are endless. We used felt to create gorgeous over-sized red roses for a recent wedding, and our client absolutely loved it!
They are great for baby showers and/or a kid’s birthday party too. Instead of afresh flower bouquet (that your little ones most likely would not appreciate that much), why not do a centerpiece of paper flowers for your next party? And to make even an even greater impact, a wall completely plastered in them! Wouldn’t that make quite the statement?!
Best of all, if you make your own like we do at And Butterflies Too Events, you’ll have them to adorn your home and/or work space as a very cool piece of decor that also reminds you of your wedding day and/or that special event. Awesome!

Happy creating Butterflies – and don’t forget to fly!
