Moneka & James, Orange and Ivory Wedding
When bride and groom Moneka and James started to take on endless DIY projects for what would end up being a stunning orange and ivory theme wedding day, they had no shortage of friends and family willing to lend a hand and help tackle the decor. This included one of Moneka’s friends, as well as myself especially since we both were wedding planners. One of my favorite parts of the whole experience was how collaborative it was. The entire event hosted for 150 guests ended up going off without a hitch. The result was a flawless ceremony at New Psalmist Baptist Church and the reception at the Rolling Road Golf Club that was a true collaborative effort, with beautiful thoughtful details everywhere you turned and a wedding photographed by Barry Blackwell of BClassic Photography that will be remembered for years and years to come.
